Step back in time and enjoy a Medieval Mystery Experience at churches in South Holland

Redeemed, a drama and music project for schools run by the churches of the Elloe East Deanery in association with Act II Theatre Company from Spalding, are putting on performances of Mystery Plays at St Mary’s Church in Whaplode, All Saints Church in Holbeach and St Mary’s Church in Long Sutton..

The Mystery Plays are said to have begun in the Catholic church when the church believed that drama would strengthen the effect of preaching and would be a good method of delivering sermons.

The performances are on the first, second and third Fridays of October and all start at 7pm.

Entry is free. For more information, call Act II: 01775 766921 or Fr Jonathan: 01406 352033
