Kind-hearted young bakers at Ayscoughfee Hall School sold cakes to raise money to help victims of the Boxing Day 2004 tsunami.

The proceeds were presented to the Rotary Club of South Holland, which sent emergency relief boxes to the worst affected parts of Asia.

Headteacher Brian Chittick was delighted to see his pupils taking the fundraising initiative.
