THERE was fun in the autumn sunshine for families at Bakkavor’s first-ever Charity Fun Day Extravaganza at Springfields Conference Centre, Spalding, on Sunday.

It was part of an amazing weekend organised for the first time on the initiative of Bakkavor Spalding’s Staff Shop, this time to raise cash for Help for Heroes

Fairground rides and an It’s a Knockout challenge, stalls and games and other entertainment went ahead both days but while Saturday was for Bakkavor Spalding employees only, Sunday was open to all and free on payment of a £5 entrance fee.
