Be prepared for a laugh and some boisterous good fun if you go to Moulton Community Association’s pantomime this weekend.

The panto – or pageant as it is being called – is Gloriana, and tells the story of the life of Queen Elizabeth I, with the kind of local references that audiences always enjoy.

Audiences may also recognise a few local people, including local MP John Hayes, who is a regular cast member.

The show was written by local resident Megan Hughes who has penned nine previous productions.

There are two performances, on Saturday (7.30pm) and Sunday (2.30pm). Tickets (£5/£3) in advance on 01406 371984 (for Saturday) and 01406 371008 (Sunday).
