Rehearsals are well under way for Polka Dot Academy’s students as they prepare their brand new theatrical extravaganza, Curtain Up.
Curtain Up has been written with inspiration from all things British, with references to the London Olympics and the Diamond Jubilee, and is set to feature great British music, such as Spandau Ballet’s Gold, Queen’s Don’t Stop Me Now and the fantastic Sing by Gary Barlow and the Commonwealth Band.
This is a joint Christmas production from a cast of local youngsters from Polka Dot Academy and Limelight Youth Theatre and involves singing, acting and dance.
Two performances have been planned at South Holland Centre for Saturday, December 1, one at 1.30pm and the other at 6.30pm. Tickets cost £11/£10 concessions/£40 family of four and are expected to sell out quickly. Box office: 01775 764777
