Calling the Tune by Tulip Radio

Celebrities on Ice at the Peterborough Arena in the East of England Showground at Alwalton, runs from tomorrow until Sunday.

The skating extravaganza is set to be an exciting mix of music, ice dancing and sequins galore, and will be Peterborough Arena’s first major event of the new year.

The event features celebrities including X Factor star Chico (Dancing on Ice finalist), Lisa Scott Lee from Steps, X Factor’s Ray Quinn (2009 Dancing on Ice Champion) and 2007 Dancing on Ice Champion rugby player Kyran Bracken, all hosted by the larger than life Christopher Biggins.

Additionally the show features the fantastic Russian Ice Stars.

Tulip Radio teamed up with the organisers of this great event by offering any school in South Holland the opportunity for an entire class of up to 35 pupils, plus their families, to attend a special performance of this event on Saturday.

Former rugby star Kyran Bracken asked which national side he used to play for, of course the answer was England.

We asked teachers to text in their answer for their chance to win this fantastic opportunity for their school.

Spalding Grammar School was the winner and John Pratt’s class won this amazing prize, worth more than £1,600.

John spoke to us live on air on Monday morning and was so pleased that his class would be able to have an outing together and his class had won to go to such a great event.

Tulip Radio hopes the winning pupils from the school and their families have a fantastic time.
