But when Tris (Shailene Woodley) is revealed to be ‘divergent’ – somebody that doesn’t fit into just one group – she must evade a conspiracy from faction leader (Kate Winslet) to destroy all of their kind.
LABOR DAY (12A, screening at South Holland Centre Cinema): A mother (Kate Winslet again) and son get intimidated into taking a mysterious man (Josh Brolin) into their home, in this romantic-drama from Juno director Jason Reitman.
When it’s later revealed he’s a convict – and the duo build a friendship with the man – this proves to be a long Labor Day weekend that will shape the rest of their lives.
