‘Petrolheads’ will get their fix with arguably the first great multi-console next-gen racing game – which offers a truly optimum package.

Bandai Namco and Slightly Mad Studios have provided a superb physics engine – complete with sensational handling and great ‘sandbox’ career mode – alongside an abundance of content and a community-focused online experience.

It does have a handful of niggling issues, like a few glitches, graphical flaws and slightly lacking car roster, but these are extremely minor faults to what is an exceptionally realistic racing game with some classy touches.

This ‘pure’ simulation racer may not have the glitz and glamour of similar genre-titles, but this is a project that provides immense depth, and is well worth doing your homework on – or it could take you to driving school.
