Oscar-winner Matthew McConaughey (Dallas Buyers Club) headlines one of the movie events of the year – from highly-acclaimed Inception and The Dark Knight trilogy director Christopher Nolan.

With our time on Earth coming to an end due to a lack of vital resources, a team of explorers undertake the most important mission in human history to find a solution, in this thought-provoking sci-fi adventure. By making use of a newly discovered wormhole, the astronauts surpass the limitations of human space travel to try and conquer the vast distances involved in an interstellar voyage – in an attempt to see if mankind has a future among the stars.

Joining McConaughey in an all-star cast, includes fellow Oscar-winners Anne Hathaway, Michael Caine and Ellen Burstyn, and Oscar-nominees Jessica Chastain (Zero Dark Thirty), Casey Affleck (The Assassination of Jesse James) and John Lithgow (Terms of Endearment).

Despite some mixed (and some favourable) early reviews, here’s hoping this is out of this world...
