Se7en and Fight Club director David Fincher helms this mystery-thriller, which is undoubtedly one of the year’s best films.

The new Caped Crusader (in the forthcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice) Ben Affleck stars as Nick Dunne, a man who becomes the focus of a media circus when his wife (Brit actress Rosamund Pike) disappears – then sees the spotlight turned on him when it’s suspected he may not be innocent.

Neil Patrick Harris and Tyler Perry co-star in this stylishly-moulded film that is a real brain-boggler with some sickeningly dark moral twists – that really brings out the best from the Affleck/Pike/Fincher tripod.

Hence why it was only the second film to garner five stars on the Miller Time pages this year (see third five-star film above) when reviewed last month.
