SOUTHFIELD House Residential Home in Spalding staged a successful summer fair full of music, games and family fun.

Residents and staff welcomed visitors of all ages and events included a sing-a-long with Lincoln-based musician Jeremy Hillyard, tombola, raffle, cake stalls, cream teas and children’s games.

The fair raised £579 for Southfield House’s amenities fund which pays for activities and entertainment for the home’s 31 residents.

Carol Hillier, home manager, said: “The fair was very well-attended by friends and family of our residents, staff and people from the local area.

“The residents thoroughly enjoyed it and our visitors said what a lovely atmosphere there was.”
