Worst seen in our 26 years

My husband and I came down to Spalding this weekend to stay with friends to enjoy the annual tulip parade.
I'm sad to say that it was a great disappointment. We have missed the parade only three times in the last 26 years and this was the worst.
To say it was the 50th anniversary it's very sad.
The marshalling was virtually non-existent, resulting in practical chaos.
There were more trucks than floats and we missed the very funny and talented Romsey band. There was no crowd control either.
Maybe the organisers should apply for a Lottery grant if financing is a problem. Come on Spalding, let's see you return to your former glory.
