A new GCSE course in applied performing arts at Spalding's Gleed Girls' Technology College has uncovered a wealth of talent over the past two years.
The Performing Arts Showcase at the South Holland Centre, Spalding, on Tuesday is the culmination of pupils' hard work.

It features a cornucopia of integrated pieces which include everything from show numbers to junk band and African drumming to drama – plus anything in between.

The talent doesn't just appear on stage. Students are responsible for every aspect of the event, from lighting design and sound through to costumes, make-up and publicity.

To offer the best possible work-related experience to students, the college has been working in partnership with a number of professional organisations, including theatre and dance companies, freelance artists, local radio and the South Holland Centre.

Tickets for the show (£4 or £2 concessions) are available by calling 01775 764777 or visit www.southhollandcentre.co.uk
