Reunion band back – by popular request

Sounds Force Five is returning to Spalding on September 5.
The band held a sensational sell-out reunion at Springfields earlier this year and demand for a return was so great that they are holding their own Sounds of the '60s Summer BBQ at the venue.
And this time the band even has soul superstar Eddie Floyd (The man who wrote Knock on Wood), singing with them.
Drummer Colin Ward said: "We were not only over-whelmed by the sell out for January 12 and the wonderful press coverage in The Spalding Guardian, but also the incredible letters of praise we received from those who attended.
"We made a promise after that event to keep playing. We have received so many requests for another event....so here we are."
September 5 will feature more of the band's '60s material that made them so popular in that decade with a special soul set featuring Eddie.
Colin had seen Eddie singing last year with ex Rolling Stone Bill Wyman, and so he invited him to come along and sing with the band.
Colin said: "We are thrilled that he said yes."
The group has also received another piece of good news while working in the recording studio towards a CD, hopefully out in time for September 5.
They have just heard that their former guitarist Rob Munton will be in Geneva next month and he will now be jetting over to the UK to record some tracks with them.
Tickets are on sale now at The South Holland Centre on 01775 764777 or from Live Promotions on Double Street, Spalding, on 01775 768661.
