A free art exhibition at historic Ayscoughfee Hall Museum in Spalding is showing the power of contrast in styles.
Opposites, which features work by Spalding artist Jon Ager, and the Welland Gallery's Janet Barnes, is on show at the Geest Gallery in Ayscoughfee until Wednesday, May 28.

Jon said: "Janet is a very different artist to myself.

"That is why the exhibition is called Opposites.

"Janet paints watercolours of local scenes and flowers but in a very different way to other artists.

"Mine are essentially about the female form."
