Plan B had to be put into operation by Fleet Fete organisers on Saturday when the rain threatened to put a halt to proceedings.
The fete, organised by Fleet Baptist Church, was due to take place in Fleet House, Old Main Road, but heavy showers meant it had to move to the church and neighbouring Stables Hall.

A barber shop quartet entertained crowds inside the church while stalls organised by local groups and organisations provided plenty of choice for people to browse round.

The event has raised around £300, which will go towards repairs to the church's pipe organ, which was damaged by an earthquake in February.

Church secretary Barbara Lane said: "I think we would have done a little better if the weather was beautiful and people could walk around the lovely garden at Fleet House but it worked out very well anyway."
