Lincolnshire Free Press and Spalding Guardian editor Jeremy Ransome went back to school this week when he met some aspiring young journalists at Cowbit Primary.

The youngsters have been studying media and journalism as part of the curriculum and Mr Ransome helped some of them prepare some work and also gave them a talk about his profession.

He also enjoyed looking through their own production, The Cowbit Times, which he said was excellent for a first effort.

“I always enjoy visiting our local schools and at Cowbit they some particularly bright youngsters who were clearly very interested in the subject,” said Mr Ransome. Photo: SG301112-354MD
