Trek challenge raises charity cash

Two charities have received a welcome boost thanks to three men who took on the Three Peaks Challenge.

Adrian Cole, Stuart Walsham and Martin Beeton did the trek in June and have now presented cheques for £2,772.71 and £2,772.72 to the British Heart Foundation and Crowland Cancer Fund respectively. The three walkers are pictured here, along with driver Ben Walsham, Frank Barrett of Crowland Cancer Fund and Joanne Cole, of the British Heart Foundation at a special presentation evening. Photo (NIKKI GRIFFIN) SG041212-133NG
