Parking issue is raised at Sutton Bridge

SUTTON Bridge Parish Council is again asking residents not to park on the village green as cars are chewing up the grass.

Members agreed to write to the county council to ask the authority to put a stop to parking on the green.

And Coun Jenny Rowe suggested letters should go to nearby business people so they can ask customers to avoid parking there.

Coun John Grimwood said the land looks “a disgrace”.
