Manor House owner row ends in court

SOUTH Holland District Council has taken the owner of The Manor House, in East Street, Crowland, to Spalding Magistrates’ Court with a complaint that its roof is dangerous.

But owner Dee David, who lives at the address, has laid his own complaint against the council – alleging the authority was unjustified in taking steps to remove the danger said to be posed by the building on November 30.

Magistrates adjourned both cases for lawyers for both parties to agree a suitable hearing date.
