Fish and chips supper raises cash for village hall

Marjoram Hall in Gosberton Risegate hosted a race night, raffle and fish and chip supper last Saturday to raise funds for the village hall. It was organised by Marjoram Beehive Association, whose members run the hall, and raised about £350 with the help of local businesses in the area. Joanna Taylor, secretary of the association, said: “It went really well, we had a good turnout and everybody enjoyed it. “We had good comments from those who came and we’d like to say a big thank to the businesses that supported us.”
