Diamond Jubilee ideas wanted

RESIDENTS in Pinchbeck and West Pinchbeck are being asked to have their say in how they would like to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.

Pinchbeck Carnival Committee is hoping to hold an event on Tuesday, June 5, but would like some guidance about what people would like to do.

Any suggestions are welcome, with ideas so far including a picnic in the park, music or games.

This event will be in addition to the Pinchbeck Carnival weekend of June 8-10.

Anyone interesting in sharing their Diamond Jubilee ideas is invited to a meeting in the Church Hall in Pinchbeck on Wednesday, at 7.30pm.

l The Spalding Guardian is collating stories of people who have had a brush with Royalty.
