St Mary Magdalene Church at Fleet was a riot of colour for its arts and crafts festival, which raised £1,100 for church funds.

Visitors browsed displays of paintings and crafts and watched artists at work.

Artist Valerie Tylor gave a painting demonstration and fellow exhibitors included Julie Turner, of Pandora’s Box, who had a wide selection of jewellery, as well as Abi Smith, from the Baytree Garden Centre’s branch of Edinburgh Woollen Mill, who sold a selection of hampers.

Among organisers were parochial church council secretary Maggie Ball, church warden Sue Taylor, Anne Cork, Ron Cutler and Evelyn Knight.
