Canteen gets new look

PUPILS at Spalding Grammar School are getting a new look canteen – complete with lunchtime TV – thanks to an £8,500 refurbishment funded by the parents’ and friends’ association.
School business manager Shaun Barton said work has been ongoing for a few weeks and will finish in about six weeks’ time.
The canteen will have new entrances, new tables and chairs and be redecorated throughout.
Mr Barton said: “We are trying to make it more welcoming.
“We can’t actually thank the parents’ and friends enough – they work tirelessly for us.”
