£500 gift to young carers

Young carers are £500 better off at the start of 2013 thanks to a donation from Spalding Farm Shop.

The Surfleet shop raised the money at its second charity evening, which saw more than 60 people enjoy presentations on Christmas gifts and ideas, owl clocks in the making and clothes from Sheila Tiller.

The money was handed to Emily Sealey and Tia Miller, from the Young Carers Association, by Kelly and Jamie Smith. Photo: SG121212-777NG
