Viking invasion brings history to life

An invasion of Vikings at Monkshouse Primary School, Spalding,provided 90 pupils with a fantastic day of role-playing fun.

COUN Ros Knight has been elected as new chairman, and Coun David Kempton has vice chairman to Crowland Parish Council. Coun Mike Jackson has retired and he thanked other councillors and parish clerks for their support. Coun Jackson will take on a new role training adults in the scouting movement in Lincolnshire and to develop the provision for scouting in South Holland.

Bowled over thanks to Co-op grant

Members of the Long Sutton Bowls Club will be able to keep their green in tip top condition thanks to a grant from Lincolnshire Co-op.
The Society has donated £735 to the group to buy an aerator.
